Maynard only has 12 months contract remaining and I was told that he has agreed to sign an extension on the proviso that he be allowed to leave should a Premiership club make a firm offer for him. Told that we are one of a number who have already enquired.

Lad who told me this is a great lad and well placed at City. Personally would love us to take Maynard on if the price is right. He had a nasty injury but they took their time with him and don't anticipate it being a future issue.

As said I'm not one to post ITK often and I don't anticipate that changing!

Young,hungry, quick and knows where the goal is! Would be a very good investment and probably wouldn't take an extortionate fee to get hold off him!!
Maybe add Graham and a prem striker with a bit of nous and experience i'd be very happy with Maynard, Graham and helguson as our options for strikers next year!!!

Yeah I did the same with Ricky Lambert before he signed for Southampton...He'd have done good in the CCC for us....not sure about the Prem tho?
