I tend to agree Kron, especially if as suggested the School End Lower is for home fans in ALL games next season.

But I was finding middle ground between that and Pete's rumour/speculation where he suggests a possible cap of 8k.

A risky game to play if they restrict to 8,000 and rely on tickets being sold at higher prices for games, especially if we end up getting west hammered every week (Boom, Boom) and people decide not to turn-up.

I'd sell up to 12,000 say and with the current economic client and much higher prices, could we actually sell that amount - I'm not convinced.

As you can imagne the club are like MI5 on this, its like my night water bottle nothing is leaking.

Though it seems apparant that current season ticket holders will get opportunity to renew first. the ones that don't renew might make them open to others.

I do get the sense that unlike our last promotion where (10,000? were on sale) it will be less this time around, due to wanting Matchday money through the turnstiles

somehow i have a feeling that if they cap the st sales they will not let people pick and choose best games, i wonder that for every man u chelsht arsenal tkt will be in a bundle with a wolves wigan (assuming still there) , only way to prevent overdemand for certain games and empty seats for others

Sure is tosh, states on the offy ticket page that they can confirm there will intially be a pre-sale for current season ticket holders and ALL valid members from the 2010-2011 season.

IMHO based on info given to me prior to the Hull game, ST's will be capped at 12K with 4500 home tickets available to members and general sale if needed. The club is to hold a couple of 'open evenings' for fans to 'try' their seat before they buy a ST. It is assumed that 90% of exisiting ST holders will renew but no early bird discounts.

One ticket per member and ST holders not able to purchase for others unless tickets released on general sale.

Problem we will have is that membership numbers will be higher than available tickets so how will the club sell them? First come first served, or loyalty points? Whatever happens it will be like 'Leeds ticketing' for every game
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!
