Avram Grant will be taking up a position at Chelsea, possibly director of football or something similar, however they want to dress it up in the coming weeks. Shocking but Abramovich loves the guy!

One more thing that has come to me. God forbid I hope this is wrong, but I've heard through the grapevine (this is from someone very, very close to an ex pro) that our next Manager will be Gus Poyet - They've even hedged money on him getting around 20/1 for him. Personally I laughed it off.

Only if Neil fails, or leaves. Neil HAS to be the one to lead us in the Prem.

I think we could do far worse than Poyet i charge. I think he'll go on the be a great manager, personally.

Shouldn't be thinking about the manager after Warnock, he is what he have got. He has done an incredible job and I hope he is with us until he decides to retire

Yeah I read it and though utter nonsense. No way is poyet anywhere near the level of neil warnock and we need an experienced manager for our 1st year in the premier, still people will love a rumour.

Although I cannot say that I feel Poyet is as good a manager, I think that's a harsh criticism. He's been in management for a very short time, and already won a promotion. Similar to Warnock with us. He took over a side who didn't look great, and then turned tham into champions.

Now I'm a massive fan of Warnock. That much is no secret, but I genunely believe Poyet will be a more successful manager in time, and will be fairly sought after.

Again....I still want Warnock to be our manager this season, but 'if', and I do mean 'if' Neil decides to move on, or he's removed, Poyet would be a decent signing for us.

I agree that it's complete nonsence to discuss removing Neil after such a successful season, but I just wanted to give an opinion on Gus.

Sorry guys my bad. I have been informed that I made a complete boob! It was GUS POYET nailed on to be the next West Ham manager and not to replace NW. He was a massive price too to be their manager. Could Steve be a smoke screen I wonder.
