Tottenham centre-back Sebastian Bassong is apparently considering his options at White Hart Lane, according to the News of the World. The Cameroon international has only made 11 appearances this season for Tottenham , and the 24 year old is reportedly keen on a move away from the club in a bid to find some first team football.

Bassong joined Spurs after an impressive 2 seasons at Newcastle, costing £8 million. It’s likely that the canny Harry Redknapp will attempt to make most of that money back. Bassong told the NOTW ‘It hurts being constantly overlooked. If I’m not playing for Tottenham, then maybe I am not much use to them.’

Always makes me laugh that clubs keep someone in their reserves then still expect to recoup what they paid. wd surely go for less than half that but prob still way out of our league.
