Pete, you are right. I'm not going to change my opinion of the guy. Yes, I appreciate the investors he brought into the club but I'm not going to say that it was down to him that we are now in the Premiership (Down to him, we were nearly in the play-offs, more like) and I'm not going to bow down to him every time I meet him.
I appreciate your loyalty to him but just accept that - like most people in life - he will not be liked by everyone and gushing threads like this about how great he is probably isn't going to convert them to your way of thinking anyway.
I have no idea why you started this thread. Is it to redress a balance or something? Because telling people to "move on" whilst criticising his detractors seems bizarre.

The post was not written by Pete, it's been done by another one of Paladinis poodles with a bit more intellect. It's all part of the spin machine trying to save the gravy dirvers job. Too late, a "retirement" is immenent
I might post this on a few other forums so everyone else can poke fun at this thread and the irony off it.....all together now, can't we all just move on hahahaha!
**** me you must lead an interesting life if you keep reading stuff that is that boring
In all honesty..I'm yet to read it. The title was boring, and when I realised I'd be reading an essay on a load of bowlocks, I kind of knew what was said.
It's just nice to be reminded how pleased I am to not give a f**k either way about this type of topic ;)

Same here in that I personally couldn't really give a **** either way. If he goes then so be it, if he stays then good luck to him.
The one thing I would say though is that the vast majority of messageboard posters want him gone, and now a couple of respected journalists have stuck their necks out at risk of being cut off by the club to say he has to go.
If in your job, a large chunk of your customers thought you were incompetent & disliked dealing with you, you would likely be moved on.
As someone who has no real feeling towards the man, from reading the consensus on forums, now is Probably a good time to give him a golden handshake and get every fan united ahead of a brave new Dawn for our club.
