  • Announcements due in the coming weeks...

Pop your info below… I’ve started the ball rolling:

    - QPR will invest heavily over the summer in the clubs youth setup to bring it up to Academy status. The club are looking at teaming up with the Power League to turn the White City rubber pitch into a new Sports Complex which will include a series of all weather pitches. As part of this requirement the club also needs an indoor complex to meet FA requirements so part of the park could be used. Other options being sort is around the Brunel University sports facility and the possibility of purchasing the clubs current training facility and developing that.

    - The Mittal’s to increase their stake in the club.

This is what I have been told. I posted this on another thread the other day -the buyer interested in Bernie's share's is the Mittal's. They want full control. There is another party interested but these were not the people reported in the papers the other week - that was about the Mittal's. Very much doubt you'll see Bernie or Flavio there next season. The fact that David McIntyre has picked up on this too makes me believe I could happen very soon - http://davidmcintyre.wordpress.com/2...r-real-change/

Thanks for that. Let's hope it's true. Might be the new dawn we hope all hope for. You can dress up the promotion, premiership etc... al you like but nobody and I will repeat nobody can doubt that up to this point we are a badly run club. The Mittals will not put up with club being run this way into the future if they gain control. That alone will be something to look forward to. I also believe they will bring great success on the pitch, something I never thought I would see in my lifetime. Exciting times lie ahead, no doubt

Birch mentioned on Talksport last week that they were looking to upgrade the youth set up to academy status..
