Wants Prem footie next year, and is a free agant.

Even if we don't fancy him, if Spurs do, then the whole Crouch/Defoe issue comes alive again.

...and about this non parade......second thoughts, skip that.

Agree it is very unlikely, why would he want to come to us ffs? But I saw the article and threw it on the forum just for interest, especially with the Spurs link and talk of Crouch/Defoe.

It's certainly a bit more realistic than stuff I've seen on the site re Messi/Xavi/Iniesta!

But is it so far fetched? Van Nistleroy is now age 34. Some people may be confusing him with the RVN of 7 or 8 years ago. He's in the twilight of his career, and is on a free transfer. This compares with a striker like Graham or Long, who would probably cost us 3-4 mill for a 3 year deal. Ultimately, RVN would cost less even tho his wages would be 10k a week higher.

How old is Robbie Keane? and Is he better than Crouch or Defoe? probably a close thing. He's currently with Hamburg, not a huge club really.

I have a feeling RVN would earn a bit more than 10k a week more than Danny Graham lmao
