Tough call we owe Warnock a shot in the premier hes defo earnt it for all his hard work.
A quick look at Ranieri's CV and its pretty impressive,Champions League winner at Valencia.Juventus and Roma have always competed at the top end of Serie A and in Champions League under him.
CR would definatley attract a different type of player.
Warnock is a man we trust to deal with all managerial matters, why change that and bring in a yes man/someone who wouldn't insist upon total autonomy?
He did the job of getting us there and he deserves the chance to manage us there - any other decision would be a disgrace.
The only problem of course is if we are not in a European spot by late October, either the press or the Board will decide his future - what a joke.
Ranieri is a top quality manager and any club in the Premier League outside of probably 2 or 3 would consider him.
That said, we shouldn't even be discussing this. Warnock should be sitting happily on a new deal. I'd be pretty miffed, though not surprised if Warnock was shown the door.
Al-Fayed did something very similar at Fulham in ejecting Micky Adams for Keegan after he'd secured them a promotion.
Despite the Mittals stating NW will be manager next season, I personally think that the 'continental' factions within the club are deliberately putting the feelers out there to see what interest they can garner.
If a high profile manager expresses a genuine interest in taking over then I believe Warnock would be offered a golden handshake
Crazy move unless Neil has a better offer. I don't want some foreign journeyman, lets not forget this is the tinkerman of all tinkers. He will be making all sorts of weird subs.
Tough one. It would be sad. But don't think words like "deserve" really come into it at this level of football. In my view it would only be worthwhile if the board wanted to really go for it and basically start again, building a totally different squad capable of competing in the top half of the table. But then you are talking massive spending. If the ambition is simply to become a "Wigan of the south" then Warno is clearly your man...

EYR what makes u think he could do any better than Warnock? Warnock has never been backed with money but if he was he could be another Alex Ferguson. It doesn't matter where u r in the table u need the manager to get the best out of the players and Warnock can do that far better than tinkerman. I am fairly sick that we are discussing this.
