Okay lets celebrate July, When Half Our Players Have Gone from A great Season
Pete, it's not fair enough. I can't think of another club who haven't celebrated winning a trophy with a parade / civic reception. The club have ballsed up big time on this.
The thing in July will be crap as most fans are on holiday and who celebrates something 2 months after the event.
I celebrate my birthday on my birthday. I celebrate Christmas on Christmas day and not in February.
The club needs to be honest with us and give the factors as to why they haven't organised one because as David McIntyre tweeted the council have wanted to do something for us which is what I have heard as well. It's just the club not being pro active in getting something sorted. Failing to prepare is preparing to fail. So true in this case.
We are a real Mickey Mouse outfit when it comes to certain things.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

The celebration was robbed from us by the FA. It seems a bit "after the event" to celebrate now?
Cllr Greg Smith, Cabinet Member for Residents Services said: "The council was very keen on a parade but Queens Park Rangers turned down this opportunity. We will however be inviting them to a civic reception with the Mayor of the borough."
its definitely the club who decided against a parade (probably more worried bout the inquiry)
but surely now its too late as a lot of the players are off on holiday all ready and its a bit pointless without the players present isnt it?

The head of the council told me the exact same thing. It wasn't an issue of cost. The council said that having Rangers in the top flight will bring so much money to the borough.
Rangers were inept with going down the right channels to organise one. That's why the events team are so inept at fans/players things.

Yeah with potentially half the squad having been released in the middle of July when most Rangers fans are away with their families on a summer holiday
Only at QPR
