So if Bernie decides to sell for less than the £100 million he’s been touting, the Mittals will be the buyers…

But with the rider that Mallya definitely still wants a slice.

Would've thought valuation would be higher now we're a PL club.

Good, as bernie knows nothing about the players or the club and flavio has actually done alot for our club, but he's trouble and i would him to stay away from the club

That's true but I think Blackburn were bought for about £30m!

Bernie indirectly owns the Istanbul circuit as the Turkish Government pulled out of subsidising a race infront of empty stands.

Briatore's interest is in the GP2 support series that is his baby.

Mallya has been unofficially involved for some time now and now wants a genuine slice of the pie

I've always thought the Mittals have had a bigger share in things than we and the media have been led to believe.

If you were as rich as them, wouldn't it be a good idea to build a reputation for the Club that you are relatively tight and won't pay over the odds for players - they've certainly done that - so that when you do get to the promised land, people want try to rip you off when signing players, like Chelsea and Man City do. These guys are very, very astute and me thinks Lakshmi is well into URz and is gonna take us to the top - You only had to see the smile on his face to see that.

Lakshmi is a Ranger, Lakshmi is a Ranger, La, La,La La - Theres a chant for next Season.

              Onwards and upwards.

Of course this would be ideal but as bernie seems stubborn over his price, the mittals will not have their pants pulled down, so they may not go with it

The Indian market is virgin ground, so to speak. Ok Blackburn have their Turkey farmers who will look to get involved there - but could they compete with the might of Mr M? Add to that the fact that since his involvement, Rangers have been poking around the Indian scene and, given the untapped numbers of people and £££'s in the Country, I can see some very good reasons why they would want overall control - because if they crack the market (and I cannot see why the Mittal family would fail at it) then the return on investment would be immense.

If that happened, that would be the Mother of sweetness !! With Mittals business acumen and willingness to succeed, I can see him using his company to build us a state of the art stadium.

The Grand Prix was running DURING the match, and this was at a circuit where negotiations are going on regarding future years. No way could Bernie have missed that race.

Like all of these things, you don't really know what will happen, but I think this sounds really positive.

They might change QPR into an IPL cricket club of course.
