  • Previous signings by promoted clubs

Here's a list of players who were signed by promoted clubs over the last few years. I think Birmingham are the team who are worth emulating in regards to our transfers over the summer. They bought Premiership quality players for decent prices.

Not a massive amount of cash thrown around but the teams that did stay up spent around £10 million. Newcastle spent the most last season and they already had a good squad when they came up. I've highlighted in bold the ones who have been decent - good buys. Odemwingie stands out as one of the best bargains for ages.

£10 million would be enough for us as well I think, but think we will go down the Blackpool road instead(and they will probably be relegated)

Apart from Steven Fletcher, Burnley did the worst business and i guess thats why they went straight back down

some of those players you wouldn't be able to pick out in a police line up. some bad business there.
