We've had a mega result on the field this season and also in the tribunal and I'm still rejoicing both. I am happy to forego a parade, especially after the euphoria of Watford and then last Saturday.
How long does it take to organise a parade?

Norwich clinched promotion on BH Monday 2nd May and organised a parade.

The parade would have been a great way tro say thanks to the players that won the title. Some of these will have left in pre-season and may not be able to return for any celebration.

Yes, it was great to win at Watford and have the **** up after Leeds but the parade is something for everyone. All the families can go and the Rangers fans that can't go all the time.

I just think that at times our events team are just not able to deal with things at times, especially now we're a Premiership team. It's just so amateurish.

Stoke and Man City all have something planned should they win the cup. If they lose it doesn't go ahead. Something which Rangers should have done.
Totally agree with what yo say Hammersmith and the theory of we didnt have enough time is bul**hit coz remember Warnocks words 4 weeks ago "i have spoken to our barristers and im happy we have nothing to worry about" so they could of quite easy started to plan something. But on the other hand although it would of been a sight to see im not gonna lose any sleep over it (done enough of that over the past 2 weeks) coz

I can see the bus now with 'Buy your Season Ticket Now for next season' emblazoned across it.
Season tickets will probably be sold out by July

I think those of you that are complaining are seriously underestimating the logistics involved in setting something like this up in London, let alone at such short notice.

I have e-mailed the club 3 times since last saturday requesting a parade, and we got todays message. I have now e-mailed them again today complaining and again suggested that they organise a parade from St Judes Institude in Queens Park to Loftus Road where all fans can celebrate. I also reminded the club that back in september in the Donny programme (on page 39) they said that later this season a plaque would be unveiled at Queens Park to honour our great clubs founders, and I have suggested that starting the parade there could co-inside with the unveiling. I am assuming that they have a plaque to unveil

Common everyone, get e-mailing to the club, if enough people complain we may get somewhere. I e-mailed them using the Feedback Form on the offy under Club.

Its not too late. (I hope)

I have emailed them so many times over the season on various things and only once have I ever had a response.

The club are amateurs when organising fans/players events.

The club is happy to have our support when they want it, but now we're back in the big time they cannot be bothered.

What about the fans seeing the trophy?

Some of us have followed the team up and down the country and the players just ran off without the Loft end and half of the Paddock and South Africa Rd (the hardcore) seeing the trophy.

                  Truly embarrassing from the club.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Cllr Greg Smith, Cabinet Member for Residents Services said: "The council was very keen on a parade but Queens Park Rangers turned down this opportunity. We will however be inviting them to a civic reception with the Mayor of the borough."

This was because the fans went on the pitch again after repeatedly being asked not too, so it was those selfish fans who spoilt it for us sitting in these areas ! Invade once the players have left the pitch, not when other fans are still waiting to see the parade around the pitch.
They are the ones who should be embarrassed, selfish beyond belief !!

And they could have come back out when the pitch was cleared.

If anything you can blame the stewards for allowing fans on the pitch. it's their job.

You don't see pitch invasions at places like Old Trafford, Emirates and Stamford Bridge etc. They've got proper stewarding!

I can understand your frustration regarding the parade but the pitch invasion is solely down to the Fans, who were asked by NW not to invade but still did and then because the parade had finished in THEIR area decided they would do it again. Clearly just a selfish bunch who decided they wanted more and sod the rest of us ! I wasn't ****ed off with the club or stewards I was ****ed off with those fans !!!

And something that Rangers haven't done. Deflecting the blame rather than looking at themselves.
