Very poor show from the club. I wonder why they haven't announced these other factors which prevented them from organising a parade??

In life you need to seize the moment and this was the perfect opportunity. Capitalise on the feel good factor. Who's to say that some of the squad that got us promoted and back in the big time won't be with us in July. Maybe Warnock will sell some of them or release him.

To be honest I reckon the club has made a balls up on this. They should have had something planned should they have won the court case and won the league which is what has happened.

Last summer they changed the date for the open day training session for the fans with the most loyalty points so many times and it ended up being on a freezing cold day during the week in October!

The events team cocked up on the player of the year party by putting the fans who had booked up first at the back of the room and people who booked last at the front. This despite saying you would get a good seat if you booked early.

Then we had last week all the sponsors of the players kit who has shelled out thousands of pounds many not even get something signed from their player because they buggered off so quickly.

So many player / fans things are truly shambolic at Rangers at times.

I bet this was a case of Rangers failing to prepare for all scenarios.

What a sight it would have been to see the borough all blue and white for a day.

Season tickets will be on sale by then, very clever, remind people to spend etc, if they would have had it now without the st's being available they would have to push again around July anyway, this way the PR and Celebrations work together.

I can see the bus now with 'Buy your Season Ticket Now for next season' emblazoned across it.

Tbh couldn't give a shiit about a parade now.

Personally I had an amazing season & 2 superb days at Watford away to seal the championship title & Leeds at home to see us lift that baby so walking along the street looking up at a bus does nothing for me. I just feel totally relieved we are going up after what's happened the last 2 months.

            That's good enough for me.

I would have loved a parade, but I am in total sympathy with the club on this. It is clear that all minds and energies (and cash) were focused on the FA hearing and no one can honestly complain about that. We've had a mega result on the field this season and also in the tribunal and I'm still rejoicing both. I am happy to forego a parade, especially after the euphoria of Watford and then last Saturday.

The events team are not involved in the tribunal. That was dealt with by the lawyers and the board.

The events team should have pulled their fingers out and had something planned if all went our way which it did.

Yes, it was great to win at Watford and have the **** up after Leeds but the parade is something for everyone. All the families can go and the Rangers fans that can't go all the time.

I just think that at times our events team are just not able to deal with things at times, especially now we're a Premiership team. It's just so amateurish.

Stoke and Man City all have something planned should they win the cup. If they lose it doesn't go ahead. Something which Rangers should have done.

You make some fair points there actually.

True what you say about the organisation of events & such but personally I think after what we've all had to endure as fans the last 2 months which is nothing short of torture we should just be happy its all over & we'll be mixing with the elite of world football in less than 3 months time.

Parade would of been nice but hey we're PREMIERSHIP now that's all that matters.

I see your point but the Events Team would have needed the blessing of others at the club to go ahead with arrangements and at the time, I am guessing it just wasn't on top of their priorities list (and I can understand why). I am diasapointed too about the no-parade, but incredibly happy with the way things have turned out.

There are many teams who do not found out until the final day their outcome, Winners, Champions etc, they still manage to have parades imo no excuse.

I Can't be arsed now anyway, had a great time.

Well we haven't stopped partying yet and have no intention of stopping any time soon

Mind you, the front of the house is still covered with all the pennants and flags and shirts and the like - ever since we got home from Watford. Question is, what is the protocol for when we should say enough now, let the neighbourhood return to normal, and take them down?

What is this hang up regarding a parade, last Saturday was a Parade on the pitch after the game, why do we need another one on a bloody bus ?
What is more important to me is that the FA, finally, got the decison correct and can you really blame the club for not organising this when to be quite frank, they had far more important issues to look after.....or we may not have been having this discussion anyway !
As others have said Watford and Leeds were our celebrations and the FA ruined the interim period but the relief we got an hour before Leeds was as good as it gets and that will be a day I will never forget.
