he has the potential to do it. but if i was NW, i wouldnt have my premiership team based around him. demolishing midfields and defences against cardiff, swansea, reading etc wont be the same when he plays man utd, arsenal and chelsea.

if the right price was offered id take it. 6m+ otherwise keep him in the squad and see whoelse we sign and build a team around somebody else.

I think he has the potential to be world class BUT as others have said its going to be harder for him in the prem. Think the prem players would rib him to bits as one or two have this season.
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

He will learn and he is learning! You´d be mad not to want Taarabt in your team when were in the Premier League. Alot of the focus for teams is going to be to try and take him out of the game, this then gives the other players the opportunity to play more freely. Most teams in the Premier League would love to have Taarabt!! He´s the best player thats been at QPR for decades! So be grateful he plays for us! I would feel terrible if we turned in to a dirty boring team like Stoke or Wolves! QPR have always tryed to play attacking football, thats why i love the club so much. Taarabt is going to have his bad days, but on his good days he´s bloody brilliant!

I agree with you Cambs_Hoops. He really does have the potential to be world class. But i wouldnt say the Premier League is as physical as the championship, and hes been a total success in the championship. Of course the defences in the premier league are alot more difficult to break, but he has the ability to p*ss over most defences in the PL. I would have Taarabt in my team over most players in the Premier League infact!! Even Nani!!

Adel loses the ball more often than he beats his man. Unless he can learn to only try to beat the man when percentages are in his favour then he'll be a liability in the Prem.

My view is that he will be worth less at the end of next season than he is now.

were forgetting still only 21, ffs how many of you were mature enough at 21 , im in my late 30's and the mrs still thinks im imature, he will learn but we need to remember it this temperament that makes him th eplayer he is , same as the aggression with keane same as the arrogance of cantona take it away he s not half the player, think we can build a team around him and hope that he will be more mature next season then this season, he only threw 3-4 strops this season, but won us a lot of points in those other games, got to be worth a try

i hit a nerve i take it... actually at the start i was like 90% on here saying derry and hill was bad signings.. but being the "know all" i bet you was part of that 10%..

fact is adel has walked the championship because he has had 10 players brought in around him. if he was so special and amazing.. king of the prem etc.. then why is he with us? infact why didnt he do all the business the season before when on a season long loan? $hit.. why did he even choose us?

"around somebody else" is not one word, its three words.

now.. im not saying he isnt good. he is prem quality.. but if we adopt the same tactics next year.. we will be carrying a player whenever he decides to throw the toys out of the pram. he wants to be a one man team and anybody who has seen the celebrations from the leeds game can see that. he is not and at the moment will not be a team player.

that is a luxury that QPR cannot afford to take when being a relegation threatened team.
