  • Does Routledge have a deal in place ?

I understood that when we got promotion Routledge had a deal in place to sign a perm deal, anyone know for pretty sure if that is the case please ?

    Thanks

( Naughton and Routledge on the right with pace to burn is exactly what we need )

Not really convinced. He's been OK for us in the Championship, but as discovered at Newcastle, maybe the step up to PL is too much.
Unquestionably he has pace, but other aspects of his game are really quite average. Control, passing, often holds on to the ball until he losses it, and mostly he makes the wrong pass choices, and too late.
Just my opinion, but in my view he's a bit of a 'headless chicken'
His comparisons are Lennon, Shaun Wright-Philips, Gradel, even Mackie, and they are all better.

Mackie isn't better than WR are u mad?

WR actually has a very good delivery into the box and he didn't really get a good go at it during his spell with newcastle. He has been superb this season and a big improvement on mackie. His goals have had class written all over them but I think we must have watched different games gerry????
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

It could be that this last part of the season has been a much needed wake-up call for him! Like Taraabt he still have a few elements of his play to work on,I should believe. Respectivly, both of them have to work their socks off to make an impact at the very heighest level. In my view, both of them will make it.

Routledge has been great for us but to be honest I would love us to sign max gradel.
