  • Remember When Cardiff beat Leeds 4 nil away a lot of fans conceded the title!

I remember the thread the day after, many said we were fighting for 2nd place, how inferior we were to Cardiff!

So proud of the squad the determination never to surrender

Being QPR we could have kind of expected it, we followed it up with a great 3-1 win with 10 men over reading.

10 wins on the road this season amazing! Just still smiling!!

There were a LOT of fans saying how good they were, and they did have a point. I don't think anyone genuinely thought we'd rn away with this league, but I didn't give Norwich a prayer either.

The one's I got bored argueing with were those telling me Warnock wasn't the answer, and that he was a hoofball merchant. Even after Forest away (I think?!), lot's came on telling the world that they were right, and it didn't take Neil long to go back to old habbits. Those who all wrote off Derry and Hill. The latter got accused of being a donkey and all sorts. Pleased to say that they were all proven wrong. No, I'm not digging anyone out, so I hope there are no precious comments.

    Anyway...It's a funny old game.
    Your mum would love me...

He has done an amazing job! The togetherness of the team is supreme!
I can't believe we have done all this without Ambrosse!

Agree with Norwich I didn't expect them to go up, after seeing the improvement Warnock made last season I knew the players would be playing for the shirt!

I put my hands up i was one thinking on Cardiff running away with it after they signed CB and they should have but for two factors NW and DJ.

But with NW's signings i was happy to go with his judgement even when a lot wanted expensive striker, another NW factor, the man is a genius.

If Warno had Cardiff's squad could he have run away with it ?

A very good question! I thought Cardiff were such a dangerous attacking side even after our victory at LR! Warnock probably would have built a different side with some more character guys in it but I'm sure he could get the most out of those attacking options! I think at the end of the day one of Cardiff's biggest shortcomings is it's whining manager!

Half Cardiff's team being loanees and the fans expecting automatic promotion from the off whereas we'd of been delighted with the playoffs is a big difference as well.

Cardiff, I have to say that I always thought we would finish higher than them.
For one thing, we were superbly marshalled by Neil Warnock, whilst they, despite a very talented squad of players, had Dave Jones at the helm, a man with all the charismatic charm of a pile of vomit.

That isn't to say that we ourselves didn't possess a very good squad, we did, the very best as it happens. CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!

No because the team had no backbone, hence why they are still big time bottlers.

I think one of the answers was a lot of the players Neil brought in were unknown to others therefore underestimated in games. It took teams a while to catch on to us and we had already made our mark.
I'd say with Cardiff everyone knew they had a strong frontline and people went there with a game plan and once that was dealt with they only had to break down what was a weak defence. They were never really competition we were always gonna win it, but Neil deserves high praise and respect for everything he has done this year. He da man and i hope he stays.
