It's better that he is honest about keeping his options open than making a hollow pledge of undying loyalty. How many players would not change their mind on such things if offered the chance to play for a team in the Champions League for example? I remember Terry Venables addressing all the fans at LR saying he was there for next season to take us into Europe and then he was gone in a matter of days.

I would say that it wouldn't be the end of the world, though. As great as Adel is, he can be a hinderence at times. If he gets frustrated, which may well happen a lot in the Prem, he goes missing. It's actually worse than being down to 10 men, having a stroppy Adel on the pitch. Having an on form one is like having an extra man, but I do wonder how many of those types of performances we'll see in the Prem?!
I do think Buzz is good enough to do a job, but in the same respect, I do not think he's the answer. More of a valuable squad player, but I don't think we can really rely on him, week in, week out.
Anyway...Let's see what the closed season brings.
this is spot on imo
He is going to get a lot more stroppy in the prem and we cant afford to build our team and formation to suit him like we have in the championship when he goes missing for so many games.
The guy is capable of moments of brilliance but he is yet to prove it consistently.
