  • Still no statement from QPR about our parade.......

Truly embarrassing when Norwich are having theirs today for coming 2nd. All over Sky Sports News. The club needs to seize moments like these to raise our profile.

Why can't the club recognise our successful season???

We must be the only team in the land to win a trophy but not to have a parade and civic reception.

Come on Rangers...............pull your fingers out!
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

It is a bit dissapointing I have to agree.

As NW said, its not every year you get a season like this.

Am I the only one not massively bothered? Of course, it'd be nice, but I won't lose sleep or call the champions an embarrassment. We've celebrated loads.

I'm happy enough that we're up.

Cant see that there will be a parade as NW said yesterday that he will be meeting with the players today and then they are ofski on holidays (and or looking for a new club).

i would have thought, the INVESTORS would want as much exposure/coverage of their connection to qpr
whether it's as a sponsor or director.
also if the club organise the merchandise stalls they can £££££££££££££ in..last time many bought the flags, scarves, horns etc on the spur of the moment
and surely many of these players will not win as a big a trophy again in their career and WOULD WANT TO PARADE...

                I agree sir.

Witnessed Brighton's on Sunday. There was more noise outside the Crown & Sceptre.

Norwich are a one club town.

Its much easier for them to have an instant parade with a large catchement area of fans who would turn out for it. Council easily persuaded etc etc.

Easy for them to shut streets off to enable the parade.

Town pride and all that. Even those local Canaries who support Premier league teams would no doubt come out to cheer on their local team. Then those same suckers will be cheering on Man Utd when they play them next season.

                  No rush for us.

If it wasn't for the FA thing, they'd have probably had the chance to organise something for last Sunday, as soon as we'd won at Watford.
As well as taking the gloss off the season, the whole fiasco has probably cost us a parade too.

Seems a bit strange, unless the club is saving it for when we win the prem!

It's a brave Police Officer or LBH&F official who sanctions closing the roads around the Bush during Westfield's peak shopping days....

Also heard rumours that hammersmith & fulham council wanted £8,000 for the clearing up if we had a parade, QPR were not going to front up the money for it, such a shame seeing how good the last one was in 2004, have it on a sunday morning if the police are worried about westfiled shoppers, say from 10.00 am - 1.00pm, it's a bit shamful on QPR not even making a statement to us supporters.

That's because they are waiting for the 6 finger crew to get theirs out the way first so we can completely out-do them!

My one is considerably bigger than yours....
