  • Next season I hope we still have..

Most importantly Warnock still at the club, aswell as Taarabt, Kenny, Derry, Routeledge, Faurlin, Gorkss and Connolly.

The rest of the squad im not sure are Premier League class. Although Hill was great for us this season, i dont think he´d have much of a chance against most of the PL wingers unfortunatly.

I trust Warnock to make some decent signings so were able to stay in the Premier League for good. YOOOOOOU R´s!!!

Gorkss and Connolly are not Premier League class either. I'd have Fitz Hall over either of them next year.

More than likely we will have a new back 4 for next season anyway...

I agree that Hall is better than Gorkss and Connolly -- but his injury record is not good, and can we afford to have semi-crocks in the 25?
Same thing would count against Buzsaky unfortunately.
(I think it's part of what did for Bellamy at Man City.)
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

Hall gets injured just out of his car. Gorks and Connolly formed the best centre half pairing in the land (92 teams). Don't give me Hall is better than them. Hoof ball merchant!

I agree Hall is unreliable due to his injury record, but as a defender he is better than both of them.

          IMO, of course.

Giving away needless free kicks and potential penalties liability too. Got away with a few descisions this year.
Arms all over the place! Reminds me of Furlong.

I'm disappointed that after a very successful season, we can still find ways of slanting our players. Especially the defence. All played their part when called upon.

I'm not slating anyone Benny. I'm just giving my opinion than, a) Fitz is the best CB at the club, and b) Gorkss and Connolly are, IMO, not Premier League class.

Far from handing out a slating.

Yes because MC and KG never gave free kicks away did they?

MC at home to Forest springs to mind, which cost us 2 points.

Stop being precious, Morris. You're not the only poster on this thread. Whilst I disagree with your thoughts on Hall, I was referring to him being labeled a hoof merchant. He's done well for us IMO. Personally, I doubt any are 'Prem class', but I do still believe that with the right partner, Rambo is more suited to the next level, but that's just my opinion.

All in all, every one of our CB's have played well.

Ok Benny, try quoting in future (as you have done above) so I know who your post is directed at.

Agree with the rest, except the part about Rambo. He is out of contract and I suspect will be let go by NW.

If Giggs can still do it at 37, then I hope Derry gets a contract extension, I think he can do well in the PL. Was in my top 3 best players for us last season. Works hard, good passer, he'll got more bookings in the PL, but great team player.

Bradley Orr steadily improved from the time he took over from Kyle, to prob his best game vs Leeds. May still have more improvement to come, so wouldn't dismiss him too soon, however could end up on the bench if we bring in pacey wingbacks for our system.

Same with Connors, still only 24? so lots of time to gain experience, he is so good in the air, and has good positional sense. Gorksy probably not, he's just too slow on the ground and PL strikers will waltz past him easily.

I'm afraid I'm not a fan of Routledge. His did OK for us, but not as good as I hoped, and the step up to PL is maybe too much, as Newcastle proved. Bit of a headless chicken imo, loads of pace but passing, control, and ideas lacking. He's is better on the left, but him and Adel then get in each others way. Would prefer Gradel/Lennon/Shaun Wright Philips/Mackie.

So keep, Kenny, Orr, Hill, Connors, Derry, Faurlin, Tarbs, Mackie, Hall. Thats it.

Had to put a tablet under my tongue everytime the ball went anywhere near those two.
