Now I'm not knocking supporters who are a little less vocal or even new fans but that game in particular should have been R's who'd been going for years not some muppet who got a ticket off his mate.
Agree some bloke comes up to me at half time and asked where the bogs were!
How do first timers get tickets?

This is only the second game in many years I have been no where near getting a ticket for. The other was v Arsenal in the cup...and I can't even remeber the details of that, but obvious that demand was high.
Glad to hear that half the stadium hadn't been before.
EDIT - by the way, I am just answering the question, I know this debate has been done before and there were things we could have done to make sure we got tickets etc etc.

I had 2 blokes in front of me who spent the entire match on their iphones in b block, and a man and wife who had their kid asleep in inbetween them for 80 mins!
The most surprising thing though was the amount of empty seats, I counted about 8 around me, and i've never had as much legroom in the SAR stand ever.

I have to say my biggest problem at the game was a guy on the other side of the aisle who spent the WHOLE GAME pissing and moaning about how **** players were
Routledge you're ****
Cerny you should be shot you mug
Anyone would think we'd won the league or something.
At the end someone asked him why he was moaning so much "I hate watching us lose" well he must have had a torrid time watching us before this year thenA blog of my first season ticket, and QPR's return to the Premiership after 15 years
Where Were You When We Were S4!T?

Atmosphere in W was awful, a few joined in with the songs but in general it was terrible. Agreed that the ticketing needs to be restructured. ST holders shouldn't be given extra tickets, then members on a loyalty scheme then if more tickets available put on general sale to the public on database.
