By the way Nodge, is there any likelihood Bassong will be made available this summer? Harry doesnt seem to fancy him any more but he could be a good player for us.
Hugely unlikely that Woodgate or King will be offered new deals at Spurs, so unless a really silly offer comes in, Bassong will probably stay at Spurs.

Whats the situation on woodys fitness because I'd have him if he is over that ongoing injury?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

and how is Woodgates current form/injury status? Heard he was playing Spurs reserve games, is he worth a punt?

My understanding was that he was very much fit for the knackers yard.

I've avoided asking that question. Mostly due to what I believe the answer will be.

2 options, Bob Hope & No Hope.

Would imagine NW will have a look at Naughton on a permanent as he doesn't seem like he's much chance of first team at Spurs.

I think the one thing we've all learned this season is to trust NW's decisoins regarding players. Apart from Leon Clarke who NW admitted was a risk, every single on eof the players that he bought in did their bit in our best season for decades.
There'll probably be the odd dissenter or someone moaning about a 'dodgy player' but I for one will be happy with whoever NW can persuade to don the mighty hooped shirt.
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

                      2015/2016, average at best.....

                      2016/2017, same old, same old....

                      2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

I'm not sure about Bullard at all. Seems to injured a lot these days and I think we could do better

                        Naughton = yes please
A blog of my first season ticket, and QPR's return to the Premiership after 15 years

Bullard would be risky, but then again we continue to keep One Size in the hopw that he can string together 3 games.

Naughton, agree, yes please if Kyle is a def no.
And maybe Wayne Bridge at left back if we can't have Kieran Gibbs, who isn't going to replace Clichy anytime soon so might as well come to us, maybe on loan?

If Wigan go down I reckon we will get Moses and Watson both NW players in the past. Also people saying Warnock can get the best out of players I agree, but does that make them good enough for the prem?

Yeah, can definitely see Neil going back in for Watson and Moses. McArthur and Figueroa are good players too but probably destined for bigger clubs.

Would like to see moves for Nedum Onuoha and Nigel Reo-Coker (the latter available on a free). Ricardo Fuller at Stoke's still very handy. Obafemi Martins?

Yobo or Dunne for experience at the back?

Bruma and/or Bertrand on loan from Chels.

Ultimately though I'd like us to do a proper bit of scouting abroad because although you can make a case for Premiership experience a lot of the time you'll be paying for reputation and not much else. There's great bargains to be had in France, Holland, Belgium if the club does its homework... someone like Max Gradel will cost £4m-6m here but will be ten a penny in France for example.
