  • Chelsea fans happy for us...

May just be me but any Chelsea fan I speak to say they are really happy for us to win the league and be in the prem. They said our rivalry is good as fulham are crap fans, it's another London side in te premiership and one less northern place.

The ones I've spoken to genuinely seem happy!

F88k them all. Most of them gave it the biggun' for years about how we were a nothing club. All found it funny that we were cheaters and don't deserve the league. Now, all of a sudden, they all knew we would be ok, and are really happy.

      F**k them all.

        Great post mate.

I really find the theme of the 1st post irratating if i'm being all honest. I live near Cobham and if you lived in surrey you would hate them with a passion.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

4 Chelsea fans I have spoke to are happy for us
                Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

sadly its because they no longer see us as any kind of threat. it wd be like us seeing brentford get promoted. but im not too fussed. at least we are back where we belong.

The ones I've met all seem strangely happy for us... Before mentioning "that's six easy points for them next season." :rage:

Most of them nowerdays are newbies an have no idea of our past rivalries - hence the goodwill.

Plenty of time to sort that out next year though. Blue flag, ####, up, stick anyone?........

I went to the boozer where I live yesterday in Hampshire and it was rammed with Chelsea and Utd fans. I hate Chelsea and their fans - 6 years ago I never saw a Chelsea shirt where I live, then suddenly they are everywhere and not just kids, they can't be blamed that much...but adults who never seemed to be into football were suddenly Chelsea fans.....I even know one guy who has two season tickets, rarely goes and could not even name 11 of their players....but tells everyone he is a season ticket holder. That's what their fans are now.

Having said all that - I hate Man Utd fans even more. There are 4 Premier League clubs within 40 miles of that pub, yet most people in the twon support Utd. It put me in a difficult position as I actually found myself wanting Chelsea to beat the northern monkeys yesterday.

I feel like I need counciling now.

As for the OP - I think rivalries in football mean everything. Celtic fans hate Rangers, but if they got relegated they would miss their big occassions every year. We need our enemies, they strengthen us. So I am sure they are glad we are up.

Spoke to a so called Man U fan i know who said he's not bothered as we're just a little club anyway and we'll go straight back down, funny thing was though he also said it would be good for us as we've never been in the premier so haven't played most of the teams before, he was in his 40s and has only been watching football (tv mainly) for about the last 10 years, he's been Old Trafford once. sums it up really.

Chelsea fans i know said they don't care means nothing to them, don't even look to see how we're getting on. Didn't even realise we'd been promoted yet as thought our hearing was still ongoing.

Arsenal fan i know looking forward to it, said you'll enjoy emirates and said a lot of them like our ground.

So differing views really but f'ckd if i care we're back.
