This is only an issue as they finished third, and any points deduction could have put them up automatically. If Cardiff have won, they wouldn't have bothered. How about we accept a 30 point deduction, when we next compete in the League of Wales!!!
As for the Swansea call for answers from FA....rubbish from rubbish newspaper journalists trying to fill space with rubbish nobody is interested i anymore. MOVE ON.
I might be alone in this, but I hope they win the play-offs.
Nothing to do with this non-story, but they deserve it because they finished 3rd, played very good football, Brendan Rodgers has been pretty decent all season..... and it would *destroy* Cardiff to see Swansea go up.
Yeah, they're "Welsh" but I'm a Cardiff hater, not a Welsh hater.
Reading FC, Billy Davies, or Cardiff City FC?? No thanks.
Plus, I honestly think Swansea would be the least able to compete(£) in the PL.
Absolutely. No just the old pounds, shillings and pence, but they are quite isolated geographically and really slap bang in traditional rugby territory.
I must admit that Swansea have earnt my respect on the pitch this season. They play good football and have finished third on merit, and they've done it without much of a budget. They're still p!keys though

Whilst this is true geographically, The Swans get larger crowds than The Ospreys. In fact, Cardiff also get larger crowds than the Blues, so it starts to question which is currently the more popular sport in South and West Wales.

Rugby still predominates in schools and in depth at lower levels from Neath westwards. All the Welsh franchise rugby sides are in a bit of a trough - if Cardiff Blues were to have a Heineken Cup winning side, they'd easily get 20k.
Scarlets still get far bigger crowds than Llanelli FC

Ha ha, yes, fair point.
Personal experience has shown that if your kids want to play rugby round here the set up is second to none, but if they want to play football it's a different story.
They would get torn apart in court if they tried to sue us, as their initial comments after the verdict was that they accepted the decision -- they only started seeing the back door into the Prem when they finished 3rd above Cardiff.
A massive u-turn which would get their suit chucked out of court.
It's just press mischgief and guff. Any press conference will just be about play-offs. Journos will almost certainly raise our punishment to try and stir things but I back Rodgers to just slap it all down and say focus is on the pitch/promotion.
