The only problem with that is that the reason we were attractive to investors was our location towards the centre of London. If we move down the A30 we lose that.

Western International market was considered at one time. QPR pinned a map of London on the wall and marked where all the season holders lived and found that the market was central to where they all lived. Don't know if that is still the case.
Would love it if QPR stayed at Loftus Road tho. Maybe buy the houses on Elerslie Road and Upper Loftus Road might be a cheaper option rather then moving.

Absolutely nothing on the LBH&F planning schedule. Which would have to be if the submission has been tendered. Also, no notice to local residents on the Wood Lane estate or Section 106 agreements. Nothing in the Land Registry on the sale of the BBC site either.

        Sorry, all BS.

I am sure there is much merit in what you say, but I have never even heard of the place and would rather stay at LR and not compete with the top clubs than to move to some middle of nowehere place I couldn't find even with a satnav and lose part of the identity of the club.

If QPR leave LR it must be somewhere nearby IMO, otherwise QPR fails to exist and a new club is born.

20 minutes by car, & train, is on he road (A40) which many fans both home and away travel on to get to us and is not in the middle of nowhere, but in the middle of hugh, untapped area of literally thousands of people who love football but for whatever reason dont go. So I agree with your sentiments, but if a new club was born, it would be profitable.

All I can say is Loftus Road is packed these days and for the next few years will be jumping.

I'm glad the stadium will see the top level of football once again before/if we move, its what the stadium deserves (specially as there are some good little premiership features in there, probably more to come).

Enjoy the Loftus Road years, If we are established it'll be surplus, but a lovely stadium anyway.
QPR, remember that name, you'll be cursing it later

What if we win the premiership and have 50,000 people that want to come?

Then we would be in the same boat as many of the big clubs who could sell out their stadiums many times over.

New stadiums cost a fortune. You have to be sure that the investment is worth the return and the risk. That is why we should see what actually does happen in the PL in terms of demand and performance.

I agree. However I also believe that now we are in the premiership we should maximise the benefits-ie increase our fan base. With Loftus Road at the moment we cant do this. If we can get another 7k regular fans we can secure the long term future of the club. Just take Fulham as an example.

They have done OK with their growth and work to pull new fans in, but they are fair weather fans. Any club that erects a giant plastic toy of a wierdo outside their ground is no example to follow! :pleasantsuprise:

Welcome to the board. Looks a nice stadium although I do like the Idea of 4 stands like LR.

My favourite Ground I have seen recently is Brightons new one.
