Loftus Road is fine at the moment. 3/4 years of demand outstripping supply and we can look at a new ground.

There's a reason clubs build nigh on identical stadiums
Pride Park, Amex Arena, Stadium of Light, Madjeski, Stadium:MK - all on paper soulless new arena's but all have their own quirks and individuality. At the very least you can be over 5'6" and walk out of the ground without needing a trip to A&E to have your shins re-aligned!

Must say I've driven past Falmer several tines recently and it is a fabulous looking stadium and perfectly positioned on a dual carriageway so should be easy enough to get away from. Fair enough they've had long enough to plan it but it really is well done and would love to pull Brighton away in the cup next season, although may well venture down anyway for one if their games if we are not playing.

"soulless bowl" is a myth. Fans create atmosphere, not 4 stands at the sides of a pitch. Did you ever go to Highbury?

James - I have been to the Madjeski a few times now and I think it is excellent and would be perfefct for a team like us.
The atmosphere was also good everytime I went, might be that the more vocal home suppor sits by the away fans, but it was good. In fact I hope they come up via play offs as it is a great away dat IMHO.

i think as long as the stands aren't too far way from the pitch, and the stadium is "enclosed",no open corners etc any staduim should be capable of generating a good atmosphere
by the way,a number of Leeds fans were critical of the atmosphere at LR..just shows you how people's perceptions of the same experience can differLast edited by blueboy; 09-05-2011, 12:32 PM.
