I don't like to sound like Eyeore and it should go without saying that I'm absolutely delighted we are going to be in the Premiership, but if I'm honest I found the celebrations all a bit flat. I wonder if anyone else felt the same?

Partly it was because of the very lacklustre second half performance after an excellent opening, so to lose on the final day did spoil the party a bit. But also think that the wrangling beforehand just spoilt it for me a bit, particularly last week. This might sound odd but when I look back on our promotion I will probably think far more to Watford, seeing Andy Impy run on the pitch to celebrate, Adel coming over to us to celebrate when he scored, Tommy Smith's goal and the joy and relief of Faurlin. That's what will give me a lump in my throat.

As I say, entirely subjective and different moments obviously mean more to different people.

I agree with you. Was a unique situation we found ourselves in, so were not feeling as sure of ourselves as champions should be. There was no clinching moment as it was already won before the game started!

Fantastic night though. Looking forward to a little break from football, messageboards and twitter etc...

I wasn't at ****ford, but that's where we clinched the title, and for those that were lucky enough to be there, a great moment in the life of QPR fan.

I was at Loftus Rd yesterday, and for me, the sight of Neil Warnock and the lads get presented with their winners medals, and the trophy, will live with me forever, and would be truly the one moment throughout this long campaign, that I would have regretted missing until my dying day, not to mention the club's brilliant idea to provide a flag for every supporter which added to incredible scenes both before and after the match, 'twas almost like a Wembley cup final.

I'd agree, Watford in retrospect was a far bigger moment.
Yesterday was like a big sigh of relief, and, being in X block, with the lines of police and people who'd run on the pitch blocking our view, we really couldn't see any of the presentation at all.
The players sort of 'cut the corner' on their lap of honour anyway, didn't come into the corner, except for Dan Shi2, ever the gentleman, who went along the whole row of wheelchair fans, and shook hands with all of them, and to the other couple of players who came that bit closer than the others.
And thank you to Darren -- me and Josie got separated in the chaos, and he got her and brought her out to me -- thank you Darren!

Still a great day though, at last the bubbly got drunk, and watched the best bits again on TV...and again...and again...and again...when does the DVD come out?
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

I think a lot of it was due to that most of our hard core were at Watford so it mean't a lot whilst yesterday there were lots of people who hardly come. We'll have this a lot next season when more of our fans come out the woodwork.

Went down for a pee when they scored their second, and there was 4 blokes leaving saying something to the stewards about going to watch West Ham.

Not as emotional as I thought I'd be although I did shed a tear when Adel lifted the trophy. Outside the ground when the news came through was the best bit for me. Amazing scenes I'll never forget.
