  • The last ever "Dave Jones just doesn't ge it" thread

His interview last night was full of as much unintended irony as his celebrated comment after our game at his place (you know, when he said Adel did nothing all match - other than score two goals).

Last night he said, and I paraphrase: "I don't know why my player look so miserable and are so down, look at their body language, but they are still in the play offs." Er, has he not looked in the mirror lately?

The bloke has looked for the last two months as if he were on the verge of suicide. I get deeply depressed just seeing him, so god knows what he does to the players he must face in the dressing room. He's the one who needs the happy pills. In the same breath he was moaning about the FA decision, as if any self-respecting football manager would base his hopes on the possibility of another club being docked points in a kangaroo court.

Perhaps if he had spent a bit more time ensuring his players were tucked up in bed before a season defining game - and when he found out they hadn't been, reflected on what that must say about their respect for him as a person - and a bit less time getting all sour and jealous about us, his season wouldn't be shaping up to be yet another fiasco.

Not having a go at Cardiff fans, some of whom have, surprisingly given previous form, been generous about our promotion, but I do think Jones deserves every failure he gets. So I say to you Dave, its been a pleasure - now kindly take your miserable, bitter little face somewhere that I never have to see it again. Cheers.

Cant wait to see them fluff it in the play offs again. Cardiff thought they had this league sewn up as soon as they signed Bellamy.

Wonder if all their loan players will have been recalled, they might have to play the groundsman........
            They seek him here.................

Will probably be sacked and go off into a happy retirement, running a childrens home or whatever.
