I have it on good authority that we will,we will also sell players worth up to about 5-6 million.

That team would get owned in the premier,Taarabt and Faurlin aside we need a new team.

thats what i think will be realistic starting line up, cant see us spending. crouch would be on loan as he would cost 5 mil+ and we wont spend that on a player. cant see much change to our current starting 11 to be honest

To stay up and progress we need to look alot further than signing the best championship players.
The question is can Warnock attract those sort of players.

I think people need to consider a couple of things:

1)We had the best defence in the country this year, so there should be consideration to keep a nucleus.
2)Team spirit was a twelfth man for this group. Again a nucleus of the team must move forward if we are to retain that spirit.

I can see us retaining much of the defence, including Kenny, Orr, Hall, Connolly, Gorkks, Derry, Faurlin, Routledge, Taarabt

Cerny, Buzsaky, Hulse, Rowlands, Cook, Mahon, Borrowdale, Clarke all look likely to leave, and would have to be replaced by stronger squad players.

Helgusson and Hill, although consistent this year look unlikely to be retained as there may be a need for younger legs.

Certainly, Kyle Walker or Naughton would be an excellent signing. A marquee forward such as Crouch could also come, but in the main we will need half a dozen premiership players, to replace those leaving above.

I'd like to see exactly the same squad that he got us here given a chance.

I want to see the loan paid off finally.

The last thing I want to see is us wasting money on big contracts and ending up like Portsmouth or Hull is we don't stay up.

Then you might as well say you want to see up back in the Championship the following year I'm afraid.

I hope the kind of spending being talked about is realistic - I certainly think its needed if we are to have a good chance of staying up.

I don't think that follows at all. Worst thing we could do is load up on a bunch of players from failing Premier League clubs. Any investment needs to be sensible.

And if we are going to spend tons of money, how happy are fans going to be paying £1,000 for a season ticket - first home defeat and our terrible fans would be wanting a demonstration.
