I don't know anything about comp tickets, but I certainly do agree with Romford here.

The FA have decided the two charges we are guilty of are aganist the club. I'm sure if it was against one person it would be no skin of there nose in saying so. They showed distain for all QPR fans, so hardly going to care about one individual if he was guilty.

The problem some fans find him guilty of wearing an Italian suit or saying the sky is blue, in the real world thats just dislike for someone
      Pete,

I work for a bank. If I made a serious error that led to the bank being prosecuted in court and fined £875k. I would expect the sack.

If Paladini was the one who signed off using this agent etc... then he should expect to be let go surely? I am assuming that he had a heavy involvement in this case, as he was being cross examined in the hearing, and not Flavio etc... The truth will come out, and if it was his fault (it has to be somebody's fault at the club), then he has to go!

I don't understand if people are deliberately ignorant about it though or genuinely don't get it?

They put us through hell for weeks/months, they wouldn't have cared if one person was responsible and naming him

What i'm trying to say pete, is that the club should hold an internal enquiry into who is responsable for this debacle (not suggesting it is GPs fault i just dont know) if the culprit is found out and dealt with then might ease fears of the fans.

Lets face it whats to stop this or something familiar happening again if not dealt with.

            • Problem is the highest football body in this country, found him not guilty.

We could talk all day about it, but those are the facts.

I also remember a great many people saying his days were numbered when the takeover first happened and more recently that he had no real responsibility at the club, with some even asking what he did. When I told them, I was told he was simply a waiter.

Now with this case, its a matter for some to find a scapegoat, yet those same people (and I can't be bothered to find the posts) said he had no say at the club whatsoever.

trouble is, can't have it both ways

I cannot see anyone disagreeing with you and for the record as I have said before the verdict if he has been found guilty of any wrongdoing then he has to go full stop no ifs or buts about it

No spin as some elsewhere are on a desparate crusade to rid the club of him by regurgitating old news but at this moment in time it looks as though the FA have concluded he does nothing wrong but thats not to say it might be wise for both him and the club to find him an alternative position in the future

                  • agreeing with scarlet here.

once we've finished from our all mighty party and a half. something does need to be looked into internally about who/what/why re our transfer paperwork. Faurlin is just one of several bodge ups since flavio sacked sheila.

We need to make sure this never happens again, let alone debacles we've had wit hthe likes of Smith to name another with paperwork bodge ups.

If he ever found to be Amit would you want him kicked out?

I am sure the whole matter will be discussed behind closed doors in the next week or so but we fans will never unfortunately hear the outcome and the two camps and those on the fence will spend another few months throwing mud at each other

                      • With all due respect the FA Statement it was responsibity of the club.

Guess we will just have to enjoy being a premiership club.

                        • To add though, today i really couldnt give a sh*t...i'm off to the offy. Oh and re my earlier comments, i think gp make take this opportunity to retire..maybe not this summer but possibly in a few months once he's seen us in the prem under his stewardship. I also think history will show he's not been a bad egg at all..just like well, thompsons era doesnt seem that bad now considering the shower of monkeys we had since he buggered off

Very clear on the FA site.

£875k fine plus 50% of FA costs is still a hefty punishment.
I dont think it is, its poorly written and like you I thought it was two but that is what you get when you read a newspaper.

There were seven charges in total and this is how I see them now and it is from the FA site, so come back if I have got this wrong.

The Club charges relate to the player Alejandro Faurlin and concern the alleged existence of an agreement between the Club and a third party in respect of the player’s economic rights, and the alleged failure by the Club to notify The FA of that agreement before the player was registered to play in England in July 2009.

‪These charges are brought under FA Rules C1(b)(iii) Charge 1 and E3 Charge 2, and the Third Party Investment in Players Regulations, A1 Charge 3and A2 [B][I] Charge 4

‪The Club is also charged with allegedly using or seeking to pay an Unauthorised Agent in relation to the player’s registration in July 2009. This charge is brought under the Players Agents Regulations, A1.Charge 5

‪The Club and Club Official Gianni Paladini are also charged in respect of allegedly false information contained in documents submitted to The FA in relation to the same player signing an extension to his playing contract with the Club in October 2010. These charges are brought under the Players Agents Regulations, C2 Charge 6, and FA Rule E3 Charge 7
