Its not unreasonable, problem is the penalty was against the club.

The one against an indivdual was NOt proved, so in my book that means not guilty. The person in question was never up for 7 charges, he was up for 1.

The FA have decided the two charges we are guilty of are aganist the club. I'm sure if it was against one person it would be no skin of there nose in saying so. They showed distain for all QPR fans, so hardly going to care about one individual if he was guilty.

The problem some fans find him guilty of wearing an Italian suit or saying the sky is blue, in the real world thats just dislike for someone

As such think the close season might be the perfect opportunity to kick him upstairs - life president or some such - but taking away his executive functions.

          That statement worries me actually.

If we are in the Premiership and people still harp on about him, then anyone arguing the case is really fighting a losing battle.

it suggests to me that if we won the Champions league, FA CUp and Premiership rolled into one season it would still not be enough.

Rejoice. I cannot wait until June21st to see the calendar of next seasons games

Pete, someone....on the board....an employee.....is guilty of a monumental fark up, for which has cost the club £850,000 and do you not agree whoever it is should be brought to task.

Pete, the trouble with that is Paladini was the only board member's name to get mentioned at the hearing.

You know a bit about the club's inner workings - who do you think it was that made the decision to employ the unauthorised agent?

Furthermore, some of Smudge's tweets certainly didn't help his cause:

"Paladini has not done the club any favours....When he was interviewed by the independent lawyers sent into the club by the FA in January he got into a right state...It led the FA to believe he was hiding something...For crying out loud have you ever heard Paladini talk? The FA couldn't understand a damn thing he was saying..."

                    • Paladini was up for TWO charges. One was not proven.

Very clear on the FA site.

£875k fine plus 50% of FA costs is still a hefty punishment.

                      • Although it's known that GP and NW are friends, Amit seems to think he brought NW in.

I'm not convinced NW would walk out if GP was not there 'being the middleman'.

Although I agree, most clubs outside the Premiership would want our financial clout and backing, I strongly doubt many are envious of FB's and GP's actions & reputations over the last few years.

I'm willing to accept he's done many good things for the Club, but for every successful foreign import like Faurlin, we have to counter the playing side of others, like Di Carmine, Alerti, Pellicori and many others from elsewhere other than Italy. (Parejo was down to FB I reckon, and in fairness, a worthy try)

GP just seems to get himself involved in too much controversy, he didn't come out of the guns in the boardroom court case very well. Did he ?
And I cringed at his 'blue sky' comments on TV. I struggle to justify his actions and words when friends who support other teams discuss him with me.

In the Premiership, he'll have to act a lot more professionally and with a great deal more dignity, if we are to be taken seriously and not end up with further visits to Wembley (for the wrong reasons).

I suspect ALL transfer deals will now return to 'undisclosed' to avoid any further conflict.
All that said, it does seem he's in the clear.

                        • So he WAS found guilty of 1 charge ?

I'm confused, I always though he only had 1 charge against him, until the last few days when many have reported 2 charges.....Mmmmm ????

They put us through hell for weeks/months, they wouldn't have cared if one person was responsible and naming him

As for booing the man, when someone has just asked him to make a few comments which believe it or not, the majority would have wanted to hear, is another absolute disgrace. Likewise, the booing of the Football League man who was here to present us with medals and the Championship trophy, which a small minded, ill informed and embarrassing minority couldn't seem to grasp.

Maybe people should concentrate on directing their anger and venom at :

The National Newspapers who it has now been proven have made up quite a lot of their content.

The TV and Radio commentators, also guilty of blowing up such a nonentity of an issue into something that gave thousands of fans justifiable cause to have their last few weeks spoilt beyond comprehension.

The FA for the timing of this inquiry. Assuming it was only ever there because they genuinely felt we had done something wrong, it was something they knew about a long time ago. Maybe they are just incompetent too.

Certain officials and fans of other clubs, who wanted to stir up the trouble.

Perhaps even Neil Warnock, for having the nerve to ask the fans for just one thing yesterday, to keep off the pitch. A request that was nicely respected by everyone.

Oh well, I'm off to see what else you're arguing about today.
