          Now my realistically possible solution.

Sell Blackstock and Camp for realistically £1.5m the pair. Buy Cox for £2m, so thats £500k from our own money then try and get Taarabt on a season long loan.

Maybe look to bring in a young prem full back on loan as well.

Cox was an alleged target for Celtic. Now that Strachan has left them we've jumped the queue. Er... which actually puts us first?

With talk of Mrs Hoddle (that's John Gorman to you and I) coming in as assistant manager and him having Swindon connections - perhaps this will happen, then again maybe it won't :waaaht:

Would love to see Cox at Qpr. But think he will go to the highest bidder which sadly, won't be us, unless Swindon can't shift him over the summer and are prepared to drop their asking price? Can't see him still being there in September.

I would really question the sense in selling Blackstock for £1.8m and replace him with Cox or Beckford who would each cost more than £2M.

We know that over a full season, Blackstock can score around 15 goals at this level. However, we don't know how well the other two will do in the CCC.

Previous strikers from that level have struggled to repeat their L1 form in the CCC e.g. Sharp, Eastwood, Trundle, Maynard. Unless the price for them would be less than QPR get for Blackstock, I'd rather stick with him.

As for signing Sturridge and Evans. Perhaps Evans might be willing to step down, but absolutely no way will Sturridge.

There are more than enough options for him to stay in the Prem League with Chelsea or Man City. If he did become available, I would expect nearly every other Prem club to want him.

Where do you think the money is going to come from to buy these players?

I'd be truly amazed if we spent more than £500k this summer.
QBP 20th August 2009..."To be fair, I'm glad we are top of the table (for agents fees). Shows we are not a selling club anymore."
