So a 73 year old is helping decide our fate, what I don't understand is the report says he was deemed too old when he was 70 why the **** is he doing this then, he is so out of touch with the current game.Queens Park RangersNPower Champions 2010/2011
PREMIER LEAGUE 2011 - ETERNITY (Oh well got that wrong, we'll be back though)

What's more worrying is that he used to work with a county FA. How can he be classed as independent? Given that he had a high positio at the county, he would have had contacts within the national FA. They are.all part of the same old farts network.Don't you just love Gianni "I've never done nothing wrong for this club" Paladini..

If you dont understand its because you start from the premise that this journo has got his facts right. Lets not let the facts get in the way of another spin and side track story, it is another sloppy journo.
There is no age retirement in the FA, depending what committe the guy stood on you are either elected for life or you can only serve a maximum of three terms. So he decides to stand down from the elected for life committe or was timed out on the 3 terms and out and keep his hand in by accepting a postion on the Judicial Panel.
I have met plenty of people in the legal, financial world who are his age and they are sharp and no dummies. He is not there because he knows football, he is there because he knows how the FA works ( it appears not very well). He just might as a result understand the agrument put by the Club's legal team how the FA allowed the club to get into position. Lets not right people off so quickly based on a newspaper report that has an agenda, the same paper will be getting stuck into the club later on either way on the outcome.
By the way you hopefully will be his age one day.
That is enough for the morning , off now to see the wizard Tarbs.Populus fui meus nomen , tamen meus nomen est non meus nomen
