T'would be f***ing funny, if as a show of solidarity and support for a fair playing field, if all the other Championship clubs went into administration at half time, just like Leeds did and rendered the FA's decision as completely meaningless.

What's pointless about the statement? Lots have been wondering if pot will be presented tomorrow and FL have answwered that one. They could have said nothing and left everyone wondering OR they could have said that they were not going to present it in view of uncertain situation.

the way worded ridiculous everyone will now spend all night deliberating arguing looking fo rmeaning in the statement when we all just want closure, reading that statement sounds like the trophy is ours and so is promotion but who the fk knows...

So it is saying as things stand unless the IRC gives a point reduction it will only be reviewed before that time. That can only mean that following the whistle and lets hope no extra extra time, that if the IRC has made no decision that is it, we are the Champions. The playing season for the club is over as defined by the rules.

IF that is true, and IF they can't deduct points after the final whistle tomorrow... then no news is good news tonight.

I'm not 100% convinced that is the case, not until I see it admitted by the FA.

Well if it was me writing this I would allow an exit door it is what I do and it does not appear to do so. It appears to be cleverly written to say that unless we get docked before the end of the game we are Champions and implies in code that is the end of the matter. An exit door would say something like " the status of the Championship and QPR's position in the league would be subject to the findings of the IRC". Someone high up in the FL has signed this off, this how these matters work.

Perhaps I am giving more credit than they are due, we shall find out shortly

Wish I shared the Leveller's confidence. To me it is about the worst wording I think I've ever seen in a statement released by a major, official body. Its as clear as mud. At no point does it say or even imply that if a decision is not reached by the match on Sat that the FA can't punish us. I know Leveller has shown us a rule - and I'm grateful for that - which seems to suggest that their powers to do anything after the match are minimal but there did seem to be a grey area and nothing now would surprise me in this case.
I'm probably alone in this but I actually don't want the trophy presented if there is still this cloud hanging over us. It becomes a nonsense.

I think the difficulty is that the hearing decision and any possible penalty is all part of the FA's remit, while the presentation of the trophy is under the control of the FL. I don't think the FL can say any more than they have. They're probably as much in the dark as us.

The FA can still punish us outside the playing season (fine) and into the next playing season (points).

What a complete **** up from the idiots that run our game, they have got thousands of QPR fans hanging by a thread, and do you know what I think they lap it up, their 'power' over the hard working fans that have to fork out to support this shambles of an administration that have the beautiful game in their hands.
I am not a QPR fan but I am a football fan, and l say stuff the Premiership, and if you lot have to ply your trade in the Championship again next season, well at least it will be a vision of real football not the gravy train that is the Premiership and all those over paid useless excuses for footballers that have to be paid for by the real supporters. How the hell can you really compete anyway? There are only five or six clubs that make the Prem competitive and the rest make up the fixtures.
So if the 'worst' was to happen...no sweat, you WON the league by being the best, and they can never take that away from you...all real football fans know that.

Well said. I would also fear a situation where they deduct us point ahead of next season.Anyway, that´s another story yet to be answered.
