I agree with Hollins. If found guilty we should be correctly punished. Hopefully we'll not be found guilty.

If Keys and Gray asked Stan Bowles or Rodney Marsh the same question, ''If found guilty should QPR be punished denying them promotion?'' we would of got exactly the same answer that JH gave, because there is only one real answer. Yes we should.

Hollins says if found guilty should be punished with point deduction ,that N.W. players & fans have done nothing wrong but if guilty shouldn't even be put in play offs to the detrement of others

              Whoa! hang on a minute.

Maybe we should be punished, IF we're guilty.

But to take away a promotion, and fine a club in excess of £100m by doing that? And not even allow us into the play-offs?

Just because of an admin issue, that doesn't even exist in any other country in the world, including Wales?

Nah, sorry, but that punishment would be TOTALLY out of proportion to the "crime".
This is about the FA setting a precident, acting tough, and going after a club with such spite and vigour, that you'd think we'd played with 12 men all season.
This is a fair and in-perspective punishment that Palios and Hollins are suggesting?

Not in my f***ing book, it isn't.

              Totally out of proportion.

@Smudge1962 "What do you think of John Hollins' comments as a former QPR player?"

@mikeewer "Scandalous and ill-informed. To compare QPR with Swindon is absolutely ridiculous. Like Palios comparing them with Luton"

Keys and Gray really do reveal themselves to be very poorly informed and utterly ignorant of the matter to hand and lead ALL their guests down the path they want to travel. If it's not PL, they don't care, essentially. Must have had some good researchers at Sky Sports to make these two even semi-lucid. Still, Keys obviously needs the cash for the ongoing laser treatment on his hairy monkey hands.

The only bad thing about those two muppets not being on Sky no more is the prospect of the gimp that is gary neville taking over. Heaven help us

Couldn't have put that better myself, Goddard.
People seem to forget for a moment just how trivial, when all is said and done, the question of third-party ownership really is.
If the FA have rules pertaining to third-party ownership, and QPR have fallen foul of those rules, then yes, punishment is due.
But that punishment should fit our alleged crime, and robbing the best team in the championship of a trophy and title that is thoroughly deserved, and above all else, fairly and squarely won, would be a bigger crime, totally making our minor wrongdoing utterly insignificant, such would be the excessively heavy-handed approach shown by the inept FA, should said clowns choose to go down that path.

So did I.In fact I used to watch the reserves every season when he was in charge at Harrow Borough and at Loftus Road as well as many away matches especially at Staplewood(Saints reserves) and Fratton Park as I live in Southampton as is obvious from my log in name.

I agree with your reasoning but prehaps Holly is still sore about basically being kicked out and replaced with Vinny Jones!!!! I mean, Vinny Jones?!!!!:rage:
