So both the FA & QPR are represented by Blackstones - isn't that some kind of conflict ?

............And we have one of the two heads of Chambers: Ian Mill QC

Where is the 'Levellor' to explain the situation ?

Its Poets day and things are slack so I will have another go, I have covered this before as did someone else I recall.

The word or use of Chambers is not a company as the man on the bus in SAR may think. It is a term that is used for offices that are specific to the legal profession.

Chambers are loose associations of practising barristers and Queens Counsel who each pay a set rent or income-based fee in order to be given office space and legal secretarial assistance. Each barrister is in charge of their own case-load, clients and often have an area or areas of expertise as in the case with Blackstone.

In fact it is extremely competive and providing certain procedures are observed regarding the conduct and security of information, some would recognise the term Chinese walls, there are no conflicts of interest.

Great post webbie and hope it's true. I can't help but feel someone at the FA should be sacked for the way this affair has been handled. They could have really helped themselves if they had communicated throughout the process
