If what we have been reading is true, the evidence to prove the 5 charges againts QPR have been very flimsy, but they still think that QPR have tried to cover up/or lie, but are failing to prove so.The 2 charges against GP seem to be the one's that are / could hurt. But those charges do not seem to carry a points deduction - so it would seem a fine is in the pipeline...But very strange that this could not be announced today or before the game tomorrow. They are still going to be sifting through evidence over the weekend.
Its a very sad end to a very good season, only then to hear more rubbish about Warnock in the gutter press apparently leaving with another dodgy Italian coming in.
One thing is for sure...life is never dull at Loftus Road
I don't doubt the other clubs will try it. Fact is they will have no chance whatsoever.
My take on it is that the delay is bad news for us.
I honestly think the delay is solely designed as a pressure release valve for the Police at a number of fixtures. Our game with Leeds would risk descending into serious disorder (pitch demonstrations, fighting etc all possible and would all be live on terrestrial national tv - with the FA pilloried as being the responsible party) if any announcement of a significant punishment was made prior to the game. After the season ends on the pitch, everything cools down by several degrees.
From the leaks I've seen which carry the most credence, the delay is nothing more than the fact the commission and FA underestimated the weight of paperwork evidence and the forensic detail that it would be gone through by the lawyers. They have simply over run, we did not get to start our defense until yesterday, commission would have to give decision by 4pm because under commission rules it has to be delivered in writing to the club (at the clubs address) by 5pm on a working day. Earliest we will hear officially is Monday morning.
Said before say it again have no problem with throwing Paladini to lions and if all we end up with is a slap on the wrists then what more can you ask for!!!!

FA may actually do us a favour! If they see that as a severe punishment, then they see us as having been punished and we just get a clean out!

Correct post,i have also been told the FA can and will make statements anyday of the week that is why he cant give me a day only no FA want this done asap
The Premier League fixtures doesn't kickoff until 3pm tomorrow, so providing either West Ham doesn't win or if Blackpool win, West Ham will be relegated and QPR become the first club from the Championship officially promoted. From that point it will virtually be impossible for the FA to take point off us in the Championship.

Obviously GP loves the club, but he needs to learn to keep his mouth shut.My wife's father is Italian, and trust me....he finds it difficult as well..plus he is a bit dodgy.
I also keep reading that the club will accept a fine without points deduction. It depends what charge the fine is directed at....don't forget, just because they are rich, doesn't mean they like parting with their money.
At the end of the day...once this mess is over, someone will have to be accountable. To mess up the clubs biggest day in history for years is not acceptable and a travesty and someone has to pay for my extra drinking this week !
