If we go up in 1st or 2nd, but are found guilty of "something" - there will most likely be some legal action by the clubs coming third and seventh - the question is - who will they be seeking damages from, the FA or QPR?

Can you confirm that we will get the trophy on Saturday?
Is the statement you refer to likely to be before or after the Leeds game and what is it likely to say ?
When will a verdict be given - Monday?

Unless the FA impose something on QPR before the final whistle tomorrow there is no action that can be taken against QPR as a Championship club. Any points they chose to take off QPR will have to be done on next season. Once the final whistle occurs and all games finish the season is over. There is only one grey area and that is you can only become a Premiership club once a member of the Premiership has been relegated. Because at present no clubs are officially relegated QPR or Norwich are technically Premier League clubs yet. The Premier League fixtures doesn't kickoff until 3pm tomorrow, so providing either West Ham doesn't win or if Blackpool win, West Ham will be relegated and QPR become the first club from the Championship officially promoted. From that point it will virtually be impossible for the FA to take point off us in the Championship.

What about the playoff you ask - well that is a completely separate competition, one that qualification is achieved by finishing in positions 3 to 6 in the league with the winner gaining promotion via a knockout winner takes all tournament.
          I believe that is right
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Go to my response on this page which The Leveller confirmed is correct. Total grey area but QPR's apparent interpretation of this seem's correct, come the final whistle tomorrow I doubt the FL can deduct any points.

If they did it will be a token gesture which the club wouldn't have to challenge.

Unless there is a 100% turnaround by the FA there will be no statement today but will be over the weekend- Fact. One of our senior members(you can guess who)is thought of by the FA to be a dodgy and they are trying all sorts to prove there is something being held back.As it stands we are going to get a fine and a slap on the wrist. The reason for the delay (words of FA Barrister "The whole of football is more important than QPR)is they are giving themselves time for other options after tomorrows fixtures. This meaning if we are far enough ahead a few points deduction to make everybody happy is possible but not likely. There are many grey areas in this case it wasnt as straight forward as we all thought.I asked the question why has NW stated that he is not worried and does not see any problems(answer) he has been told to by barristers. After the verdict there WILL be appeals from other clubs but it will be them trying there luck for compensation just like West Ham/Sheff utd as it will be what if this, what if that. There is quite a bit more that has come out of this case but will have no bearing on the outcome. If there is more you want to know feel free to post back and i will answer but ONLY IF I KNOW AND ITS THE TRUTH.

Good stuff thanks for that, i have no reason to disbelieve you, just hope your right!!

It will be at the FA with QPR named as the guilty party

The other clubs have zero basis to claim anything. Swansea and Cardiff will be told to complain to their regulatory association, the FAW, who will say 'sorry, we don't have any rule preventing third party ownership' and Leeds, Forest and Reading have not been in anyway disadvantaged by what we have done.

The ONLY club with any hope of any possible redress, IF we are proven guilty of the third party ownership charge, is Ipswich Town.
