just heard alan brazil on talk sport, he seemed to think from a recent interview with neil, it very much sounded like the club would go for an italian manager and hed be out ......is this right if so its a bloody trsvisty
I heard that too - smacks of Briatore yet again. Funny how we became successful when he took a 'back seat' and now he's resurfacing the **** starts again....only at basket case QPR.
Yesterday Raneirie was quoted as being wanted so Talksport spoke to him and he had no idea about QPR or any approach. Talksport run their station on gossip and rumour, it makes good radio but nothing else. As long as Flavio is still involved we will always be linked with a foreign boss. Whilst Amit is running the club on a day to day basis NW will stay.
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!
Soton has it right - Talksport, which I listen to every day, has no credible journo's at all. All of their stories come from the back pages of the morning papers. The closest they get is having some journos on the show.
The presenters are so ill informed and incorrect it is often laughable. Yesterday Alan Brasil suggested that because he hadn't seen loads of back page headlines about how good Warnock had been it meant the club didn't appreciate him ands therefore it was a sign we were going to look for someone else....I mean how on earth can you come to that conclusion??
Maybe a continuous chant tomorrow for Warnock, showing him our appreciation for this year and that we want him here well into next season and even more if he wants to stay.
If Talksport wanted to cut costs, they could probably just follow my dad to work and record him and his mates discussing the back pages while they have breakfast in the cafe.
Same output, minimal outlay. Might need a 30 second delay for language though!
A blog of my first season ticket, and QPR's return to the Premiership after 15 years
