We support a great club and if Paladini is found guilty of anything I am sure the board will see this and he will be out the door by next week. The man just brings problem after problem for us.
    Cheers for all the info!

                  • Off to bed, can't take any more. Cheers to those who've copied tweets. Hope the club don't give an inch if F.A. are trying to save face. Those idiots have put us through hell this week. Can't wait to celebrate Saturday at HQ

                    • BBC are reporting "sheer weight of evidence brought by both sides in a very complex case" as the reason for the delay.

                      • Monday at the earliest (except for leaks) according to Cardiff forum poster who seems as well informed as Paul Smith but from the FA side. Rule of the comission that verdict has to be delivered in writing either by post or hand by 5pm on a working business day.

                        • Think it might be Monday, but no precendent so doesn't have to be.

Remember they made statement on a bank holiday Friday (day The SUn article broke)

It should be a case of:

                            QPR Lawyers:

"F-off. You got yourselves in this mess you'll just have to admit to the world you messed up, you spineless, snivelling little sh!ts. Or else we'll see you in court!"

It sounds to me as though we are rolling over on this point of the FA trying to save face. If they're wrong, they're wrong. Period.
Don't think its that simple (when is it ever with QPR?). Even if there is insufficient proof on the major charges, there are seven of them and at least one we don't have much of a leg to stand on (the registration of the agent). Plus the whole transfer stinks. Our defence seemed to be that we lied and really Faurlin didn't cost £3.5m. That's not a particularly strong defence. In a criminal court we would then be branded an "unreliable witness". So we can hardly get on our high horse with the FA. There is going to have to be some sanction against us, but hopefully minor.

I have also heard that's why Bernie Ecclestone who was considering selling his share in F1 to Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation will now not do so.
Hammersmith, its a nice thought but just can't see Bernie refusing to sell the whole of F1 to Murdoch over anything at all involving little ol' qpr. I think the FA could plant a bomb under QPR and send it to kingdom come, and as long as Bernie got some compo out of it I don't think he'd be all that fussed. Its all about the deal with Bernie, always has been.

                              • A big thankyou to everyone there for the latest "smudge" updates. Tried the twitter thing myself and drove me crazy, otherwise I'd have tried to help out with some of the postings. As I've said before, he does sound genuine enough even if everything does not turn out 100% as he has indicated. Only just past 7pm here so going to look thru again at my leisure. At the very least it is does seem both an informed and for us, a positive account of proceedings, which makes me and I hope all of you there feel a bit better about the outcome. Just one thing, while frustrating and undeserving, if an announcement after final game means no points can be deducted I can live with that. Thanks again guys, good work on here tonite !
