  • The possible outcomes...........

What is clear is that we are not going to hear anything by 4pm tomorrow and that the FA have confirmed the play offs will go ahead as scheduled next week. So the possible outcomes are as follows:

    1. The FA will deduct enough points which puts us out of the play offs completely (highly doubtful as we are quite within our right to appeal and it will effect other clubs)

    2. The FA will deduct enough points which puts us in 2nd and we still go up (could happen)

    3. The FA are waiting for Saturday's result and will deduct a nominal sum of points and we remain Champions, but we are warned about future conduct (certainly an option)

    4. The FA will fine us (very much an option, but other clubs may feel we have not been punished enough and will appeal to the FA)

    5. We are allowed promotion and the FA agree with the Premier League that we start next season on minus points (small chance)

    6. We will start on minus points if we are relegated to the Championship in future years (highly unlikely)

    7. We have no case to answer for and the FA are very worried what we will do to the FA. FA trying to work out how they can get out of the mess without making themselves look even more ridiculous than they actually are (certainly an option)

I really hope it's option 7. You just never know with the FA.

In what should be a happy time to be a Ranger I am just feeling so dejected given the high we were all feeling after Watford away.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Still cannot see what grounds other clubs have to pursue the outcome - we have not affected their performances on the pitch, the number of points they've got and where they finish. Big time clutching at straws but any admin. error with Faurlin has meant nothing their seasons.

Good point about option 1 if we get docked 25 for example but on appeal it goes down to10 the play offs would have started so it surely cant be an option

the only other club seeming to be all over this is cardiff , the others seem to have accepted we have been the best over the season, the interesting statement seems to be no move of the playoffs which start next week, i wonder if their waiting to see if cardiff blow it sat and we win , gives them a way out ref docking points, guess we will have an idea if they present the trophysat, cant take it away after ......surely not....,..

I know this is me being bitter but something needs to be done about Welsh sides in our league.

Its wound me up today hearing that Cardiff could be accused of the same thing as us but not face the same process we have gone through because their overseen by the FAW.

If there in our leagues they need to be totally governed by the Football League and English FA. FAW turning over bans and allowing welsh clubs to follow watered down rules is wrong.

As a minimum when the dust settles we need to start some sort of campaign to have this seriously looked at and changed by the Football League. If Cardiff are preparred to leave the FAW if they reach the PL they should be made to leave it also for being in the Football League.

              Anyway I digress 3, 4 or 7 for me

I don't understand why a Transfer Window ban isn't an option?
If we a guilty then our crime is relating to transfers and inability to sign players correctly. Surely that would be the better option?
Not that I would like it, say banning us from a or several windows, but surely it is more reactive to the issue.
Why fine us? to simply get some money out of us?

Think QPR should go to FIFA and get the book thrown at the FA.
