  • What is the chance of be crowned champions with no promotion?

Argument put forward on the Norwich which slightly concerns me.

Only two teams relegated from the PL and 2 promoted from the Championship

We are crowned Champions, no points deduction and keep our trophy so we are effectively relegated from the PL.

This may have been asked already but with the way this site is crashing I'll never get through all the posts/threads.

    Can this technically happen....anyone?

    Mmmmmmmmmmm.

    Swindon.

Were relegated TWO divisions as by then they were effectively promoted but then reduced to only one on appeal, ie they stayed in the division where they'd just won the play off final from.

Even less sleep for me tonight.

Is this an FA version of water-boarding?

    IN WARNOCK WE TRUST
(In others some of us never did)
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

Not a chance! The PL would never allow it, that's about the most farcical way possible of resolving it! How the hell would they allow say Wigan to stay in Premiership due to an administrative error by a Championship club! There is no chance of this happening!

I am sure that scenario is possible. Due to the money at stake though, I would have thought the losing finalists in the Play-Offs would consider legal action, as they would consider they should get promoted as the third highest ranked team (excluding us).

surely if the above was happening they would still be able to announce the result tomorrow as originally planned..........they must have given QPR a good reason for postponement.

My take ( only guessing ) is they are waiting until after the fixtures have finished as someone has stated they cannot deduct points, then they will announce a fine, no other club can complain as points cannot be taken when season finished..........could be wide of the mark, but here's hoping.

I think we are looking in to the postponement too much and its just that they don't have any proof and are bumbling along time wasting

Or there's a risk that QPR fans will get the game abandoned and mess up Leeds very slim chance of the Play Offs.
