  • how about this for a Conspiracy theory?

No decision as they were scared of the potential for trouble if we had points taken off us. Can you imagine the stick the Dirty Leeds fans would have given us if we'd been knocked back? I mean it'll be bad enough, but we can take it on the chin at the moment, but after the event you can guarantee trouble.
Its shambolic, but do not forget that this is a position we should not be in. No smoke without Fire and all that and we have not exactly helped ourselves here.

Muppets the lot of 'em. So p-d off with football at the mo.

that scenario went through my head, very plausible unfortunately
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

I think, the delay is almost certainly because of the fear of crowd trouble. And surely that means we will hear something we won't like.

Or our lawyers have tied em up in knots, and they are trying to negotiate a face saver for themselves.
        They seek him here.................

reckon thats on par with the theory that goes along with the "lifty fifty" one that some nugget spouted
"The kids missed everything from Queens Park Rangers to Conkers".

London Pride has been handed down to us.
London Pride is a flower that's free.
London Pride means our own dear town to us,
And our pride it for ever will be.

I have been quite positive through out this so far, but if this decision is to be announced after the Leeds game, i dont think it will be what we want to hear . They must be really worried about trouble if its bad news. Please god i am wrong and they let us know Friday evening, so we can all celebrate.

the biggest scandal here is that we are beng deprived of our finest moment in prob 20 years , by deprived i mean the enjoyment that we get to feel on such a few occasions, it s out of order and totally unfair and against everything we all go to watch football

Spot on; I am simply numb over all this; no emotion and I'm pretty sure that won't change whatever the outcome. So much incompetence in our club and at the FA; give 'em the keys to a brewery and see how they get on arranging that party.....

Can't be arsed to celebrate; what's the point?

so the players and coaching staff know it was worth their efforts either way.
No matter what outcome, we won it.

If the FA could have turned this round in time, I'm sure they would have done, which makes me think it's their fault, rather than choice, that it's been delayed. Or it might be that we are stalling to delay it beyond the Leeds game.

I reckon the delay is due to the commission not being convinced of our guilt -- in these cases I think the prosecution can request 24 hours to amass new evidence, which must be made available for the defence to read, so that they can defend it.
However, having spent 8 months putting together their case, I can't see that an extra 24 hours is going to enable the FA to put together any more than they've already got.

I don't think the idea of preventing crowd trouble at the Leeds game would matter in the slightest to the FA -- the fans are very low down on their list of priorities (unless they can make money out of them by fining the clubs for failing to control their fans).
