I agree it's nice to see positive posts but for some people, they want it in stone and don't want to be let down!

I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Great news but at the same time there will be a threat of having points deducted for next season

That would really mess up the mentality of the players and us fans knowing we have a disadvantage to everyone else

Just want it over by tomorrow so we can all enjoy Saturday without any worry

FWIW I would assume this is also a crowd safety move to present the trophy. Any deduction announced on Friday could have lead to serious disorder at what is already a Cat C game for the police.

Sorry to wee on anyone's chips but this wouldn't change much.

IF worst happens but we have the trophy it would be funny if the club refused to give it back
                    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                    And many more mistakes

They could be waiting to see how many points they can deduct us without taking the Championship away. This could be the "face saving" exercise that Paul Smith has been suggesting the FA are looking for.

Not convinced that this is correct but it is one possible scenario.

think this sounds most plausible though th fa should be disgusted with themselves that they are not allowing us to enjoy our finest moment for years
