No way would he be brought into it.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Faurlin *I think its a disgrace, that you would treat a 3 and a half million pound player like this*

Well, if he is there today we can only assume it is to give evidence - not as someone suggested as an expert witness but as a witness of fact. The thing is various people have suggested things are all done and the end is nigh, expect some news to day, blah blah blah.
If Ali is there to give evidence then my guess is there are still some serious matters to be addressed, thus rendering those rumours of completion somewhat disingenuous.
If however the Club have decided that he should be there to hear the judgment because he has been a central figure in the whole thing, that would be a positive thing because I doubt they would say come on in Ali and hear our fate unless they are confident of it being positive for us.

He is a material witness and it will be on matters of fact as after all, it is his contract and on other matters regarding the implied involvement of a third party and agent.

Quite - which simply goes to suggest that matters are far from concluded, despite some of the messages we've seen this morning.
