I would prefer if he stayed until a better LB was signed to replace him.

Under Di Canio I really liked Delaney as a player, thought he was a quality left back but think last season he got a bit above his station and thought he was better than he was. Not a touch on his former self. Can't cross a ball to save his life either, which he needed to be able to do if he wanted to keep flying forward as a wing back like he was trying to.

Thought he come across really well with some of his comments at the end of the season but that's not enough to keep a player for that money.
