Smudge: The only cast iron evidence the FA have on QPR are lying about the fee and a minor clerical error relating to an unregistered agent

Surely taking the title away seems a serious sanction to me?

I agree. But could someone maybe ask that question?

The rest of their case is purely based on presumption and circumstantial evidence in what they believe happened but can't prove

            .
This raises serious conduct questions within the professional code of conduct of the Law Society re confidentiality and conflict of interest if they are representing us and have represented the FA, unless the rules are different for barristers.

I for one hope that this Smudge bloke is right or he is gonna be in for some hatred and hassle from a lot of R's fans! I would however say that if the barrister is Smudge's mate, the club will have had to have let the barrister tell this guy info otherwise agaan it would be a serious confidentiality breach and he could be struck off, not saying its spin beause then that would bring his reputation into repute. Dont really know my point!

Again it comes down to QPR inflating the fee and the FA convincing themselves that money was paid to third party agents

                I think..

Without getting into semantics too much. The first statement indicates that the decision to deduct us points is made, they are just looking for the reason to. The second statement incites that no decision has been made and contradicts the first.

                  There are no semantics.

The FA have made the decision that they want to dock us points. But thankfully for us the FA don't make that decision, the independant panel do, and as of yet, they haven't made a decision either way.

Smudge: As I stated previously the FA are now desperately trying to save face

If they are that desperate they can charge me with being a c..t and then we can all move on.

                      No he isn't.

Yes, the FA would like to be able to find any justification to deduct points to save face. But if they can't find that justification, they will not be able to deduct points, no matter what they want to do.

Here's my issue: I don't want the club to accept any charges to help the FA save face. If we aren't guilty,we aren't guilty and the FA should be forced to say so,and face the consequences of their own stupidity.

Spot on mate, I don't want other clubs supporters thinking we somehow got away with it. We have won this league fair and square and if we have not committed any offence other than what seems a minor admin error we should be fully cleared.
18th August 2011. The day we got our Rangers back
