I know we all want to believe this guy, I know I really do, but I really am worried that he is being used to deflect any blame from the club if we're found guilty. We've seen that sort of spin from our club many times.

    Sorry.
I understand where you're coming from. But the guy on twitter is personal friends with our barrister. That is where (I think) his info is coming from, not directly from QPR.

I'm afraid the FA have been caught playing poker for stakes they can't afford. Following the same analogy, it simply remains to be seen whether their pride/arrogance allows them to fold now or go allin and bust themselves.
quite right looks like its a battle based on ego from the fa which is out of order, wonder if the welsh fa standing behind them telling them to do it

Not sure what to make of it all really,so if Smudge is to be believed then things are looking good as the evidence if any is ropey and now there running out of time to prove us guilty?

I take your point, but he has been frank about the original fee for Faurlin.

No need to, if it was spin.

Problem I have is this... Him, Simon Jordan and probably QPR know the FA are clueless, but it won't stop them making some ****ing stupid decision

Morris. I hope that I am just being naturally negative, but something about this chap's oh so handy information is ringing alarm bells with me.

Let's hope I'm wrong and it's party time on Saturday.

That's why there are routes for appeal.

The FA cant just do what they want, with no foundation.
In the end, that would be squashed. And so would they.

Like I say, can they fold or are they going to lump all their chips into the middle.

Points deduction will mean court and certain humiliation and financial ruin for th FA.

                  Agree with both.

problem is whilst all this goes on who suffers?

Yes you've guessed it, the ones that actually make the club exist

Smudge: Let's clear one thing up anyone who writes and claims that a decision to deduct QPR points has already been taken is talking utter rubbish

Smudge: There are certain people writing on here that QPR have already been found guilty and will then appeal. They are talking crap

Smudge: I can assure you that QPR's legal team remain confident that they will escape serious sanctions based on the evidence against them

Smudge: It's not that the FA have it in for QPR. The problem is they have dug a deep hole for themselves and can't climb out of it

Smudge: As I stated previously the FA are now desperately trying to save face

                            Now he's contradicting himself.

                              Not really.

He said the FA are "trying" to dock us points, but anyone saying the independant panel have made a decision is wrong.

                              I think..

He says that he thinks we will escape serious sanctions which would "prevent automatic promotion". Could someone ask him about the Championship title?
