If we got docked points and played the team who come 3rd they could argue they should play the lowest ranked team but would play the best side in the league so the teams who come 4th and 5th will get a better deal than us and and 3rd place team which opens up can of worms.

Reading and Swansea have already said they are very unhappy at that possibility. Clearly they have more faith in our players' ability, to lift themselves up for it, than a lot of us have.
