Promotion is what counts but can you imagine the party we would have if we then beat Leeds on the final day and win the cup in front of our home fans..
Why would they dock just 5 points? In that case the FA may as well not dock any points, so they will either dock points that will hurt...big time or impose a huge fine. OR Both

Said 15 points but this will before the start next season and we will appeal during the summer and end up with no points. I believe this could be FA cluse out of this **** up

This was a charge of illegal payments to players and is probably a more serious charge
QPR are also charged with attempting to cover the whole thing by falsifying documents to the FA, the FA deduct 3 points for genuine clerical errors with players registration forms.
So don't build up your hopes, expect the worse and you might be Ok.
To demote us they will have to dock us around 50 points. Can't see that one.

With Swindon they just relegated them two divisions, nothing to do with points deduction.

Because there is likely to be a negotiating proceedure between lawyers?.

There are 7 charges to answer, but the FA may have difficulty proving all 7. But also, our lawyers may find it hard to defend all 7, so to save all that hassle our lawyers may offer to accept one of the charges, knowing the likely points penalty, as long as the other 6 are dropped (the fact that the hearing is rumoured to be finishing early suggests this too?).

So if the FA can prove all 7, then we are in deep do-do's. But this is unlikely in the timescale. But because the FA need to be seen to be taking action, plus the probably that they don't want an appeal process to disrupt the play-offs assumes a small point deduction that won't make any diff to the table is the best result all round.

                    Zero points

Zero points, hefty fine £15million, shame could have spent that GP on players....who's to blame or no one! FA won't want to come out of this with egg on their faces....
