FA have spent 250k on this case...
They must want our ****** on the choppin board big time..

How can they justify spending that with no "BIG" outcome in their favour.

Maybe they are banking on a fine of a few mill then outlay is a good investement for them.

I like what he's saying, this bloke.

But.... I'm not hanging on his opinions over anyone elses in the media.

It might be nice to read, and I hope to god he's right in what he predictes. But it would be a bit hypocritical of me to say that I trust what he says over what any other tabloid journo says.

He *could* be right, of course. And there's nowt wrong with wishful thinking and/or being positive.

He seems to know what he's talking about, the other journo's dont seem to have a clue as to the facts.

FA spend shed loads of money on ALL their disciplinary hearings. The Bristol City one earlier in the season cost them in excess of six figures for a £30k fine. FA Cup Final tickets and tv money have to pay for something!

They usually get costs re-imbursed on any form of guilty verdict regardless of the punishment levy. I wouldn't say the amount of expenditure is in any way a precursor of a hefty punishment.

Oh, I agree. At least he's putting some meat on the bones of his ITK claims... and I suspect he's far more clued up than Custis, Palios, or any other of the media "insiders" on this case.

But these last couple of days have been such a roller coaster of ups and downs with various wild rumours, I'm dizzy with it all.

And in the absence of the facts, I'll go with his view.
          But with caution and suspicion.

the costs will no doubt be awarded to the FA so plus any fine QPR will be footing the bill. It makes an example of us and warns others to tow the line. That's all and I suspect that's their reason for bringing the charges. No points deduction and a slap with some (even) more coffers in the FA bank a/c

Pirri wasn't used at all, in any way shape or form for Bale's transfer or subsequent contract extensions. Pirri subsequently released a statement distancing himself from his previous comments where he falsely claimed that "he looked after" Bale. The retraction is "google-able".

As far as I know, Bale's deal was sorted out by Leon Angel but would need to check. Definitely not Pirri though.

That obviously depends on the outcome. If we get a small fine then I would be arguing that the FA pay my costs bearing in mind we faced 7 charges with massive (alleged) sanctions. It is also possible that costs will be issue based - in other words we pay their costs on the issues they succeed on and vice versa.
Hopefully, the FA will have to foot the whole bill because that means we won hands down
